water is a fundamental human need and, therefore,
a basic human right. Contaminated water jeopardizes
both the physical and social health of all people.
It is an affront to human dignity."

Water
Watch of Utah is a grassroots coalition concerned
with the quality and quantity of Utah's water supplies.
We are concerned with contamination issues. We are
concerned with wellhead protection. We are concerned
with water rights.
At present, there are serious issues
surrounding Utah's available water. Left unresolved,
these issues could unnecessarily compromise our water
which is a vital commodity that belongs to all residents
of this arid State.
Safeguarding our water sources
and carefully managing our water supplies must be
a Statewide priority. We
encourage policies and practices that will provide
our children and grandchildren with adequate supplies
of uncontaminated water.
Citizens of Utah must encourage
policy makers on the local, county, state and federal
level to champion our water resources for the good
of all Utah's residents.
